Occupational Spirometry

Spirometry Test

Some industrial processes have the potential to affect worker lung function, either temporarily or permanently. A spirometry test measures a person’s lung function by measuring how much air is inhaled as well as how quickly and how much air is exhaled. The lung function test makes it possible to identify low or declining pulmonary ability, and if an individual’s results are of concern, efforts can be made to determine the cause. Should it appear that occupational factors are implicated, steps can then be taken to control or eliminate further exposure.

Both our Belmont and Mandurah offices are open for spirometry testing with same day results or we can complete the testing remotely with our fully equipped mobile van.
