Occupational Hygiene Professional
Occuhealth Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Occupational Hygiene Professional to join our busy consulting firm. The position will be a Fly In Fly Out role, working on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster, within the Oil and Gas industry. All interstate applicants will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
Duties:
- Provide technical advice on occupational health issues
- Undertake health risk assessments within the work environment
- Atmospheric contaminant and noise monitoring, audits and surveys
- Development and delivery of training packages
- Use and calibration of hygiene equipment
- Lighting, ventilation and asbestos surveys
- Consultation and communication within work groups and Management
- Analyse and interpret data used to prepare reports
- Technical report writing
Position Requirements:
The successful applicants will:
- Hold Provisional or Full Membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH).
- Hold a tertiary qualification in OH&S, science/health related field.
- A post graduate qualification in Occupational Hygiene is desirable, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Hold a current manual drivers licence.
- Have worked in the industry for a minimum of 2 years.
- Hold competent computer skills in Microsoft suite including Word and Excel.
