Occupational Hygiene Professional

Occuhealth Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Occupational Hygiene Professional to join our busy consulting firm. The position will be a Fly In Fly Out role, working on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster, within the Oil and Gas industry. All interstate applicants will be considered and are encouraged to apply. 
 
Duties: 

• Provide technical advice on occupational health issues 
• Undertake health risk assessments within the work environment 
• Atmospheric contaminant and noise monitoring, audits and surveys 
• Development and delivery of training packages 
• Use and calibration of hygiene equipment 
• Lighting, ventilation and asbestos surveys 
• Consultation and communication within work groups and Management 
• Analyse and interpret data used to prepare reports 
• Technical report writing 

Position Requirements: 

The successful applicants will:

• Hold Provisional or Full Membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH). 
• Hold a tertiary qualification in OH&S, science/health related field. 
• A post graduate qualification in Occupational Hygiene is desirable, but equivalent experience will be considered. 
• Hold a current manual drivers licence. 
• Have worked in the industry for a minimum of 2 years. 
• Hold competent computer skills in Microsoft suite including Word and Excel.
