Managing asbestos removal following a natural disaster

In light of the recent devastating bushfires in Yarloop and surrounding areas, here is some timely advice in regards to managing asbestos after a natural disaster.

The Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency (ASEA) reminds people to follow the advice of local council Environmental Health Officers and State Emergency Services when it comes to disturbing or removing asbestos materials “The safe removal and disposal of asbestos from a damaged property is critical”, says Mr Peter ...Tighe, ASEA CEO.
